MatsiMela has harnessed the powers of the Aloe Vera plant to bring you a skin care range that supports the skin’s natural moisture balance.

The moisture content of the Aloe Vera leaf averages at 95%. Glycol-nutrients provide the skin with moisture, penetrating not only the epidermis but the deeper skin levels, the dermis and the hypodermis – protecting the skin from drying out at the same time.

Aloe Vera contains two hormones, one of which stimulates new cell growth, allowing the skin to heal quickly with minimal scarring. As we age, the appearance of fine lines and the loss of elasticity becomes a concern. Aloe leaves contain a plethora of antioxidants including beta carotene, Vitamin C and E, which help to improve the skin’s natural firmness whilst keeping the skin hydrated. As well as restoring the skin’s natural moisture levels, MatsiMela’s Aloe Skin Care Range also replenishes the skin, offering protection and healing.

Our Philosophy is to create a unique and ever-evolving product range that incorporates the finest natural ingredients selected for their beneficial properties. We endeavour to source & obtain our raw materials through Southern African based companies that in turn support local farms that produce our beautiful African Ubuntu oils & extracts. Our suppliers source oils from over 30 farmers throughout Africa and surrounding islands.
